I am an interdisciplinary, mixed-media artist, curator, and educator. My work explores the impact of culture, technology, and location on personal experience and social interrelationship. I examine fluctuating cultural contexts through multiple lenses (cultural theory, psychology, and philosophy). My projects map the intersections of public / private experience through research, documentation and collaborative work. I studied at Yale School of Art and received an MFA from Mills College in Oakland, CA. I was the recipient of the Coleman Award (Boston University) and the Zorach Fellowship (Skowhegan). I have exhibited in New York City; Boston; Melbourne, Australia; London; Dublin & Londonderry, Ireland; Istanbul Turkey; Johannesburg, South Africa; Athens, Greece; Seoul, South Korea; Baltimore, MD; Oakland, CA; Richmond, VA; Winston-Salem; NC; Portland, OR; and Rockport and Portland, ME. I am currently teaching at Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston, MA, USA.
